Okay, wow. Where do I even start with this one? Coombe Lodge, tucked away in the rolling countryside of Blagdon. It's the kind of venue that makes you do a little happy dance when you arrive. Grand, romantic, and surrounded by insane views… it’s a dream. And when you pair that with a couple as stylish and laid-back as Fran & Amoum, it’s wedding gold.
The day kicked off with groom prep, just think, the room buzzing with good energy, tunes setting the tone just right, and a group of legends hyping each other up. The energy was chilled, the suits were sharp, and the excitement? Totally infectious.
Meanwhile, bridal prep was in full swing, champagne flowing, glasses clinking “to the girls!” and that perfect mix of excitement and calm in the air. The room was glowing with natural light (and let’s be honest, so were the bridesmaids). Hair and makeup were on point, soft, elegant, and totally stunning. Every detail felt effortless.
From there, it just kept getting better. The outdoor ceremony was something straight from a Pinterest board. The backdrop? Stunning greenery, warm sunshine, and just enough breeze to make every detail look effortlessly elegant. The vows were emotional, the guests were beaming, Oh - and can we talk about the poet? Yes, a real one. He dropped some absolute lyrical gold throughout the day, and honestly, it was such a special touch. Let's just take a second for the couple… they looked like they belonged on the cover of a bridal magazine.
And then the reception hit, the speeches brought the laughs (and a few happy tears), the food was next-level, and the guests moved between tables, catching up, sharing stories, and soaking in the joy that filled the air.
We stole a few golden moments after the ceremony for portraits, and let me tell you, chef’s kiss. Every shot felt like it belonged in a styled editorial, but it was all totally natural, because that’s just who they are. Effortless, elegant, and completely in love.
And the party? Let’s just say this crew knew how to bring it. The dance floor was alive, the tunes were top-tier, and everyone was just so up for celebrating. This wedding was everything I love about what I do, stylish but not overdone, emotional but relaxed, elegant but totally personal. A real banging day from start to finish, and 100% my kind of vibe.
